I’ve ridden that road countless times over the past 25 years. It’s a local cycling route that is very popular with cyclists. Sulphur springs road is narrow, forested on the edges, and drops very fast - it’s easy to drift out of your lane on the many fast corners. The traffic is generally light but the locals driving from soap creek canyon over to Corvallis can be sloppy and dangerously fast. I’m saddened to hear of the another loss of a Corvallis cyclist.
