Source: An Endicott woman was killed while riding her bicycle on Route 434 Saturday afternoon, according to New York State Police. At approximately 2:34 p.m. Saturday, Dorothy E. Rice, 64, was traveling east on the shoulder of Route 434 when she was hit from behind by Brent L. Randall, 41, of Apalachin, police said. Rice was transported to UHS Wilson Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. An investigation into the accident is continuing, police said. The State Police were assisted at the scene by members of the Apalachin Fire Department, the Owego Fire Department, Campville Emergency Medical Services, and the New York State Department of Transportation.
