Source: Police said that they suspected the driver who struck and killed a bicyclist on Sunday night was drunk. The bicyclist, identified as Elissa Hatfield, was struck along the 5400 block of Fisher Road at about 11 p.m. Hatfield, 19, was taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Investigators said that the driver, identified as 38-year-old Casey Hakes, stopped at the scene. Charges were expected to be filed.

Elissa Hatfield was blessed with a beautiful baby girl 6 months ago. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Layla Seagraves Benefit Fund at any Huntington Bank to help care for Layla, Elissa’s daughter.
I wish we could go back in time so i could stop you from riding that bike….. i miss you liss :(
Elissa baby cousin grandma says she can not believe you are gone and neither can I. You were so beautiful & you made so many people laugh & enjoy you presence… missed daily & loved always. ... rest in heaven btw layla is growing so beautifuly (donations to layla seagraves can be made @ any hunington bank)
