FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A bicyclist was hit and killed in Fayetteville Saturday night, according to police. The accident happened Saturday just after 7 p.m. on Raeford Road. Police said a Honda Accord driven by 26-year-old Christopher Hubbard was attempting to make a left turn into the parking lot of 4132 Raeford Road. A bicycle being ridden by 50-year-old Gilles Dechert was attempting to cross Raeford Road when the Accord hit him. Dechert was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and later pronounced dead. Hubbard was cited with driving with a revoked license, according to police.
