A 21-year-old Leesville bicyclist died Tuesday night when he was hit by a car on La. Highway 117, according to Louisiana State Police. Joshua Pilley was riding south on La. 117 near Mary Hunt Road around 9:40 p.m. when he was hit by a southbound 2005 Honda Accord driven by Logan K. Craft, 19, of Anacoco, police said. Pilley was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. Craft was not injured. Routine toxicology tests are pending, and the crash remains under investigation.
