Source: East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies say a 10-year-old boy in the hospital after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a car. Spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks says the accident occurred at 9:24 p.m. Monday. Hicks says Kyre Wilson was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. Deputies say Wilson was riding his bicycle in the street when he allegedly crossed the path of an oncoming car. The accident remains under investigation.
