A cyclist was killed Nov. 25 in East Earl Township, Pa. in a hit and run accident, according to police. Police said Leon Hoover, 18, of Denver, PA was riding his bike on Saw Mill Road sometime between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. That's when a passing vehicle hit him and fled the accident. Hoover was found by a pedestrian at around 11:00 p.m. He was pronounced dead on the scene by the Lancaster County coroner. Police believe the vehicle that hit Hoover is possibly a medium green (sagebrush) or charcoal Honda Odyssey mini-van from 2006 or 2005. It is missing several pieces of the driver's side front fender as well as the left headlight. It is also missing the passenger's side mirror.
