Source: The South Carolina Highway Patrol's MAIT Team is investigating an accident that occurred around 11:20am Saturday morning in Lee County. According to officials, a man in a pickup truck traveling north on Joe Dority Road struck a bicycler from behind. The victim died after being hit and crashing into a ditch. No charges have yet been filed. The victim's name has not yet been released.
