Source: One man is dead after crashing his bicycle in Steuben County. New York State Police say 65-year-old Robert Flickinger of Penn Yan was riding his bike on County Route 87, near Keuka Hill Road in the Town of Wayne. But for an unknown reason Flickinger lost control and crashed into the pavement, according to authorities. He later died from his injuries. State Police say a preliminary investigation suggests that Flickinger's bicycle may have suffered a mechanical failure. The investigation is ongoing.
