Source: A 10-year-old girl died Saturday after a collision with a car near her home in rural Roanoke, said Woodford County Coroner Tim Ruestman. About 3:18 p.m., Tara Fuller was riding her bicycle and did a U-turn in the middle of County Highway 13 near County Road 1100 North, Ruestman said. She was struck by a car driven by Jon Moffitt, 69, of Bloomington. Tara was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the scene. No tickets were issued and the accident remains under investigation by the Woodford County coroner’s office and the Woodford County Sheriff’s Department.
